Three WMCHealth Physicians Honored with Doctors of Distinction Awards

Three physicians from our Valhalla campus were recently recognized by the Westchester County Business Journal with Doctors of Distinction Awards in honor of their contributions to the field of medicine.

Tanya Dutta, MD, a noninvasive cardiologist at Westchester Medical Center, and Boriana Parvez, MD, a neonatologist and the director of Maria Fareri Children's Hospital's donor milk program, were both recognized with the Female Trailblazer award. The award highlights each doctor's strides in empowering other women to advocate for themselves and to be aware of their specific medical needs.

William Frishman, MD, Director of Medicine at Westchester Medical Center, received the ceremony's Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his lifetime of dedication and contributions to the medical profession throughout his career. Congratulations to Dr. Dutta, Dr. Parvez and Dr. Frishman on this exciting achievement!
