Maria Fareri Children's Hospital Represented at 8th International Conference on Patient- and Family-Centered Care

Recently, a group from Maria Fareri Chidren's Hospital led by Linda Hurwitz, RN and Mary Delaney, LCSW-R attended the 8th International Conference on Patient- and Family-Centered Care in Baltimore.

With them were Family Advisory Council members Megan Busenbark and Annmarie Shisler, who along with Mary presented The Journey of the Development and Growth of the Family Advisory Council at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital from its Inception to its 5th Year Anniversary.  During their hour-long discussion Mary, Megan and Annmarie discussed the Council's development, growth and impact on care at the hospital. 

Additionally, Linda and Megan walked an attentive audience through a presentation poster - A Partnership for Safety:  The Journey Continues - outlining the Children's Hospital's successful Partnership for Safety.  Congratulations to all for representing Maria Fareri Children's Hospital so well on a national stage!
