Liver Disease for the Hospitalist... Liver Disease for the Emergency Physician

Thursday, September 30, 2021
5:30 PM - 6:30 PM

The Intra-Abdominal Transplant program is proud to host it's 4th webinar of 2021. On September 30th, Dr. Bernard Partiula, Transplant Hepatologist, will be presenting on "Liver Disease for the Hospitalist... Liver Disease for the Emergency Physician." Patients with liver disease may present in different ways; some are very ill, some are more stable, and some just need a gentle nudge. This webinar will review common clinical scenarios, using sample cases along the way. We will also discuss how hospitalists, emergency physicians and other health care providers can approach the patient with liver disease (and appropriately triage patients in the emergency department).

Presenter:
Bernard Partiula, MD
Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine,
New York Medical College, School of Medicine
Attending Physician, Transplant Hepatology,
