Westchester Medical Center Inducted Into Business Hall of Fame
Westchester Medical Center (WMC), the flagship of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), was among six local businesses inducted into the Business Council of Westchester’s Business Hall of Fame this year. A recipient in the Corporate Citizenship category, Westchester Medical Center was recognized as the premier provider of advanced medical care in the region. It was also commended for its development of WMCHealth, a 1,700-bed, healthcare system based in the Hudson Valley, comprising 10 hospitals on eight campuses, with more than 12,000 employees.
Finally, Westchester Medical Center was recognized for its support of local organizations, education of the local medical community and its multibillion-dollar economic impact on the region.
