#TeamWMCHealth Will Go the Distance in 2019 New York City Marathon

Eleven runners from the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) will be going the distance in the 2019 TCS New York City Marathon on November 3 to further the network’s mission of providing the highest-quality care in the Hudson Valley.

Supporters of the runners and WMCHealth will be able to cheer them on via social media, with the hashtag #TeamWMCHealth.

The marathoners, representing WMCHealth’s 10 hospitals, have dedicated their races to their patients. Donations, which will stay local to the marathoners’ hospitals, are now being accepted online at WMCHealth.org/marathon.

This year’s runners are: Christopher Castro-Gonzalez, PrEP Specialist; Fabio Danisi, MD; Angela Flesland, RN; Brittany Foote, RN; Brian Geiger, MSPT; Lisa Hirsch, MD; Miguel Garcia, RN; Kristin Jedziniak, RN; Michael Kim, MD; Elizabeth Tilley, PhD; and Yurij Tsuvanyk, surgical technician.
