Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital’s Big Win From Short Stacks

As part of the annual National Pancake Day fundraiser, IHOP restaurants across the Hudson Valley and Fairfield County helped raise more than $52,000 for Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth). For the 13th consecutive year, IHOP restaurants nationwide offered one free short stack of its famous buttermilk pancakes to all guests, in exchange for donations, on February 27. The event raises awareness and funds for charities, such as Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

This year, 11 local IHOP restaurants in Dutchess, Orange, Rockland, Westchester and Fairfield Counties raised more than $52,000, the largest sum raised for Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in the event’s history.

Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, is the children’s hospital for New York’s Hudson Valley and Fairfield County, Connecticut, and is the area’s local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Since all donations to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals stay local, contributions made on National Pancake Day at IHOP restaurants help support the region’s most seriously ill and injured children cared for at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital.
