Addressing the growing demand in the hospital’s weight-loss-surgery program, Good Samaritan Hospital recently opened a new Bariatric Surgery Center in Suffern.

The 6,000-square-foot facility features seven private en suite rooms, which are quiet, comfortable and designed for accessibility, sensitivity and safety. They are also equipped with state-of-the-art digital monitoring equipment.

The new center “enables us to deliver a postoperative experience in a healing environment,” said Ramon Rivera, MD, FACS, Medical Director of Bariatric Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital. “This is an essential step in our patients’ journeys to healthier and happier lives after surgery.”
