Burn Center Staff Recognized During Burn Awareness Week
To honor the 30th anniversary of National Burn Awareness Week, New York State Senator Terrence Murphy visited WMCHealth’s Regional Burn Center to present a proclamation recognizing its life-saving work.
During his visit, Senator Murphy toured the center and visited with burn specialists to commend their dedication to the care of burn patients and their families, with services ranging from intensive care to rehabilitation.
As the only burn center between New York City and the state’s Canadian border, WMC’s Regional Burn Center is a crucial resource for patients in the region, offering hope for survival and quality of life for hundreds of burn victims each year.
