The hospital now offers robotic arm-assisted partial-knee and total-hip replacement procedures. This new approach enables physicians to create a 3D plan unique to each patient and then operate using a surgeon-controlled robotic arm. Studies show that robotic arm-assisted partial knee replacement is two to three times more accurate than its manually performed counterpart; for total hip replacement, robotic-arm assistance increases accuracy fourfold.
