Tulip Ball Raises $180,000 for Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley

The HealthAlliance Foundation, recently affiliated with the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), held its 27th annual Tulip Ball in April, raising more than $180,000 to support technology and equipment, treatment services and training for hospital staff at HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley, which brings the quality healthcare of WMCHealth to patients in Ulster and Delaware counties.

At the Lazy Swan Golf and Country Club Village in Saugerties, 350 people joined in celebrating the career- and community-building achievements of Mark Josefski, MD; HealthAlliance’s past chairman Glenn L. Decker; and Saugerties Town Supervisor Greg Helsmoortel and his wife, Thomasine.

“We want to thank the community for its continued support during this time of transformation for HealthAlliance,” said HealthAlliance Foundation Executive Director Steffen T. Kraehmer, referring to the planned consolidation, renovation and expansion of HealthAlliance hospitals under its affiliation with WMCHealth. “Our Tulip Ball honorees have truly made a difference in Ulster County, and we are pleased to recognize their contributions to the hospital and our community.”
