St. Anthony Community Hospital Introduces Advanced CT Scanner
As seen in the May 2021 Issue of Advancing Care.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to officially introduce the new, low-dose computed tomography (CT) Scanner at St. Anthony Community Hospital, a member of WMCHealth. Warwick Town Supervisor Michael Sweeton and Warwick Foundation Board officers Mary Juliano and Katie Bisaro joined Mary Leahy, MD, CEO, Bon Secours Charity Health System, to lend their support in person, while employees were able to watch the ceremony via Zoom. The 256 Slice CT scanner can capture a complete image of the heart or brain quickly, reducing radiation exposure and helping to protect the imaged tissue and surrounding areas.
