Pediatric Emergency Department Expansion at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital

The Pediatric Emergency Department at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), has expanded to better serve pediatric patients and their families.

The Pediatric ED will more efficiently accommodate the 20,000 children visiting the hospital for care each year. The relocation also made space available for new beds in the Adult Emergency Department at adjacent Westchester Medical Center.
