HealthAlliance Hospital Expansion and Renovation Gets Approval
As seen in the March/April issue of Advancing Care
The Kingston Planning Board gave unanimous final approval to plans presented by HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), to build a new $92 million HealthAlliance Hospital on the Mary’s Avenue campus.
The expanded hospital will feature the addition of a new, two-story, 79,000-square-foot building adjoining the current building, as well as a full renovation of 48,000 square feet within the existing hospital.
Key components include a new 25,000-square-foot emergency care center and a 10-bed intensive care unit. Most patient rooms will be private, designed to reduce noise and facilitate healing. The hospital also will feature a newly constructed birthing center, imaging center and lobby.
