Good Samaritan Earns Top Rating from Healthgrades
As seen in the May/June 2019 issue of Advancing Care
Good Samaritan Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Health Network (WMCHealth), recently became one of only two hospitals in Orange and Rockland Counties to receive the 2018 and 2019 Five-Star rating for Coronary Intervention, along with the Coronary Intervention Excellence Award from Healthgrades.
Healthgrades evaluated approximately 45 million Medicare-patient records for nearly 4,500 short-term acute-care hospitals nationwide, assessing hospital performance relative to 34 common conditions and procedures.
Good Samaritan Hospital’s Active International Cardiovascular Institute includes such services as elective and emergency angioplasty, advanced cardiac testing and rehabilitation, electrophysiology, implantable pacemakers and a variety of cardiology and educational services.
