Dr. Grimes is the Chief of the Division of Advanced Urogynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Westchester Medical Center. She previously served as Section Chief of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and Director of Research for Gynecologic Specialty Surgery at Columbia University.
She completed her internship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire, followed by Obstetrics and Gynecology resident at the Johns Hopkins Hospital where she was Administrative Chief Resident. She completed a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and a Masters of Advanced Studies in Clinical Research at the University of California San Diego.
Dr. Grimes is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Her clinical interests include providing thorough and compassionate care of women experiencing pelvic floor disorders including pelvic organ prolapse, uinary and fecal incontinence, defecatory dysfunction, and accidental bowel leakage. She provides many office based treatments and procedures and is skilled at many minimally invasive surgical modalities including cystoscopic, vaginal, laparoscopic,and robotic approaches.
